Ali Hussain Khan, Teen With Progeria, Is The Last Of 6 Siblings Afflicted With Rare Aging Disease
A teenager with an extremely rare genetic disease that causes him to age ten times faster than other children is hoping for a miracle cure, despite seeing five of his siblings die from the same affliction.
Ali Hussain Khan from Bihar, India, is only 14 years old, but the condition, called progeria, has given him the body of a 110-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.
"I very much want to live and I hope there is medicine for my
condition out there. I’m not scared of death but my parents have
suffered a lot," Khan told the website. "I’d love to live much longer
for them. I don’t want to burden them with any more pain." (Story continues below)

Neil Armstrong Dead; Apollo 11 Astronaut Was First on Moon
Neil Armstrong, the astronaut who became first to walk on the moon as commander of Apollo 11, has died at the age of 82, his family said today.
Armstrong had heart surgery several weeks ago, and a statement from his
family said he died following complications resulting from
cardiovascular procedures.
"Neil Armstrong was also a reluctant American hero who always believed
he was just doing his job," his family said. "He served his Nation
proudly, as a navy fighter pilot, test pilot, and astronaut. ... He
remained an advocate of aviation and exploration throughout his life and
never lost his boyhood wonder of these pursuits."

Teenage stowaway, Daniel Oikhena, offered scholarship
A group called De Raufs' Volunteer Group - a group of supporters of
Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola, has offered 14 year old Daniel
Oikhena, the boy who flew an Arik plane from Benin to Lagos hidden in
the plane's undercarriage, a scholarship.
The Director-General of the group,
Amitolu Shittu, in a statement released yesterday said the group is
ready to give scholarship to Daniel up to university level and also help
him achieve his target of
travelling through the air.

Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery Named Europe’s Best Player
Franck Ribery has pipped both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award on Thursday.
The
Frenchman had been shortlisted alongside the Barcelona and Real Madrid
stars for UEFA’s annual award, recognising the best footballer from the
previous season.
Ribery, who helped Bayern Munich to the
Champions League title last season, as well as League and Cup success
domestically, was today voted ahead of Messi and Ronaldo in a live vote
by 53 selected journalists attending the UEFA Gala in Monaco.
Last year’s edition was won by Andres Iniesta.

Iyanya is chopping endorsement deals anyhow. First MTN, now Zinox Group.
The Kukere crooner yesterday signed a three hundred and fifty thousand
dollars one year endorsement deal with Zinox Computers. Zinox computers,
which is Nigeria’s first certified branded computers, will upload all
Iyanya's songs and videos to all their computers.
SSS Investigate the mother of the boy found under Arik plane tyre hole
According to a report by Punch,
the mother of the 14-year-old boy who successfully flew in the tyre
compartment a Lagos-bound Arik flight from Benin airport on Saturday
morning, was yesterday Monday August 26th grilled for
hours by a combined team of security operatives from the Department of
State Security Service and aviation security.

The Aboki rapper has joined other Bentley owners in Nigeria. He just
acquired the Bentley GT Coupe said to be worth N46million.
The
car, which is a 2010 model, was not shipped but flown into the country.
It landed in Nigeria just yesterday and it cost another N4m to fly the

Boy found under Arik plane tyre hole thought he was going to the US
The 14 year old boy who beat airline and airport
security at Benin airport on Saturday August 24th and flew in the tyre hole of a Lagos-bound Arik plane actually thought he was on his way to the US.
Sources at Benin Airport said Daniel Ikehina ran away from home because
he was being maltreated and was trying to escape from his parents when
he joined the Arik flight. Unfortunately for him the plane wasn't flying
to the US, it was flying to Lagos where the stowaway was immediately
arrested as he alighted from the wheel well of the aircraft. Daniel is
presently in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) who are
trying to unravel how he managed to pull off such a stunt.

sentence for tax evasion, Joe drops his free album “The Darkside 3.” The
