Sham bride arrested trying to marry her fourth Nigerian husband

One of UK's most prolific sham brides, Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade, 22, has been arrested and sentenced to two years in prison after trying to marry her fourth husband...a Nigerian.

According to the UK Daily Mail, Raquel, who had already married three Nigerians to help give them the right to stay in the UK was caught just minutes before she could marry her fourth husband.

Suspicious staff at the registry noticed she'd been there previously to wed other men and used the same wedding dress at each ceremony. And after she was arrested, records showed she hadn't even bothered to formally divorce previous husbands before marrying a new one...for money.

The fourth groom, a 32-year-old Nigerian (pictured above), was arrested with her and has been deported. UK Immigration is now looking for her three other husbands so they can be deported too.

As for Rachel, she is now behind bars serving a two-year sentence and will be deported to her native Portugal on her release from prison.

When news went viral that Kukere master Iyanya would be featured in a Nollywood movie, alongside his ex lover, Yvonne Nelson, many wondered if the former lovebirds would be comfortable with each other on set; especially if producers ask them to act like lovers again. Well, Iyanya made his feelings about that public  in an interview with Nollywoodreporter.com.
Iyanya said this when he was asked:
Would you be comfortable with Yvonne Nelson on a movie Set?
I have never been with her on a movie set so I don’t know how comfortable I will be.
But you don’t have a problem being in a movie with her?
I don’t have any problem. I am doing business. I am not here for celebration or family ties. Pay me for the movie. If you want me to do a movie with anybody from anywhere, pay me and I will do it.
Some fans have spun tales that the reason Yvonne isn’t so comfortable with being with you in a movie is because Elvis Chuks might have you both do a sex scene.
That’s bullsh-t. Just pay me. If you want me to do a movie with anybody, pay me and I will do it.
Okay, so you would do a sex scene with Yvonne Nelson.

Kanu Nwankwo undergoes another heart surgery again!

Nigerian football legend and founder of the Kanu Heart Foundation, KHF, Nwankwo Kanu recently underwent a corrective heart surgery at the Cleveland Hospital Ohio, USA, Vanguard reports

The surgery was carried out during one of his normal yearly routine medical checks at the hospital following the 1997 heart surgery at the same hospital.

Co-ordinator of the Kanu Heart Foundation, Pastor Onyebuchi Abia confirmed the success of the surgery adding that the former Super Eagles captain has since left the intensive care unit, ICU, of the hospital and is recuperating in the hospital

"He’ll be back home in a few days time. I spoke with him Sunday afternoon and he confirmed he’s in a stable condition.’’, Abia said in a statement.
