Nicki Minaj To Perform At 2015 MTV VMAs This Sunday

The annual MTV VMAs are going down this Sunday, with a list of performers already announced. MTV isn't done yet though, after tapping The Weeknd, Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky and others, they've announced that Nicki Minaj will open up the awards show. This will be her second year in a row performing on the VMAs stage.
Nicki Minaj beefed with MTV (or at least, she openly slammed them), when it was revealed that "Anaconda" wasn't among the nominees for Video of the Year. It seems the two have put those issues behind them.
Miley Cyrus will be hosting the MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 30 at at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It's sure to be a memorable night, stay tuned.

Kanye West To be Honoured with "Video Vanguard Award" At The 2015 VMAs

 

This Sunday night, the VMAs will go down in L.A., and although Kanye West has not yet been confirmed as a performer, he'll be present to receive the award show's most prestigious honor. It's just been announced that he'll be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, which was awarded to Beyoncé last year, and artists such as Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake in years past.
MTV announced the news via short montage video, which combines a few recognizable aspects of Kanye's videos over the years. The presentation ceremony is expected to involve a similar, albeit longer, video that reminisces on and pays tribute to Mr. West's diverse catalog of videos.

Rapper The Game Accused Of Sexual Assault, Sued For $10 Million

A contestant on The Game's new reality show is leveling some serious accusations against the rapper. Priscilla Rainey claims that Game sexually assaulted her multiple times on the set of "She's Got Game" in May.

While shooting at a sports bar, Rainey says that Game "forcefully reach[ed] his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks," which is just one of a few instances of assault that night.

According to the alleged victim, the rapper was very intoxicated due to drinking and drug-use, and was "out of control". She's looking for $10,000,000 in a lawsuit filed against Game. He has yet to respond to the accusations.
