Iyanya & Ice Prince to Star in MTV Series “Shuga”

Tiwa Savage is already on the show, now Ice Prince and Iyanya are joining the cast of MTV series “Shuga” the rap star and kukere master have been added to the cast of the award wining sex and relationships drama show.

According to the release, Ice Prince and Iyanya will both play themselves in most of the scenes set at the Badoo Nightclub, a regular hangout for the casts in Shuga.

Last season, EME label mates Banky W and Wizkid were featured in the series.

During one of the shoots, Ice Prince said “I am so grateful to the MTV Staying Alive team for offering the opportunity to continue to express myself in new and different ways as an actor in Shuga.”

Also expressing his excitement, Iyanya said “I am so thrilled to be associated with Shuga and to have this chance to help the MTV Staying Alive team communicate important public health messages in this exciting way.”

Shuga will premiere on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) on Sunday 1st December 2013 (World AIDS Day) and will subsequently air on multiple TV and digital platforms around the world.
