According to MTNFootball.com, the Super Eagles centre-back’s adviser Chika Conleth Akujobi revealed the news that:
“Keneth has passed his medical test at Chelsea and his training shirt number is 51.
“It’s the reward of our hard work and belief in the player since he was coming through the Nigeria U17s.”

Omeruo, who was on an eighteen month loan deal at Eredivisie club ADO Den Haag, recently secured a five-year work permit allowing him to play in England.
He signed for Chelsea in January 2012 from Belgian Pro League club Standard Liege.

The former under-17 and under-20 made his full international debut in a goalless draw against Cape Verde and went on to win the African Cup of Nations, playing in all of Super Eagles’ matches in South Africa.
He started all three games at the FIFA Confederations Cup as Nigeria lost out of the group stage.
The recent development will quell doubts among Nigerians that he would not fit into Jose Mourinho’s plan for the forthcoming seasons.
